Chief Editor: Cornelis Hulsman

Drs. Cornelis Hulsman established with his Egyptian wife Sawsan Gabra Ayoub Khalil in 1997 a unique, non-partisan organization seeking for the increase of mutual Muslim-Christian and Arab-West understanding based on providing unbiased and accurate information. As he mentioned in his speech given at the Cairo University, the fight against misreporting about Arab-West and Muslim-Christian relations is a lifelong task for which his struggle will continue, whether in Egypt or in any other country. His work, ideas, and contributions to the organization have been greatly appreciated not only by numerous individuals engaged in interfaith and intercultural dialogue, but also by the staff and interns of the Center for Intercultural Dialogue and Translation.
Cornelis Hulsman is the editor-in-chief of Arab West Report. In 2009 he ceded the daily managing responsibilities of the Center for Intercultural Dialogue and Translation to local staff but his principles and vision shall remain the guiding force behind our organization.
