There are certain characteristics that Muslims should have to be victorious and win support from God. God´s laws for victory and defeat are just and indiscriminate. Those who follow them will be victorious even if they are Jews. Those who do not abide by them will be defeated even if they are followers of Islam.
In a previous article, I discussed the characteristics Muslims should have in order to be victorious and win support [from God]. In this article I will discuss God’s laws for victory and defeat. These laws are just and indiscriminate. Those who follow them will be victorious even if they are Jews. Those who do not abide by them will be defeated even if they are followers of Islam.
The Qur’an says about Muslims: "…When a disaster smote you, though ye had smitten (them with a disaster) twice (as great), that ye said: How is this? Say (unto them, O Muhammad): it is from yourselves. Lo! Allah is Able to do all things" [Sura 3:165] and "O ye who believe! Take your precautions, then advance the proven ones, or advance all together" [Sura 4:71]. It also says: "Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others besides them whom ye knew not" [Sura 8:60] and "O ye who believe, when ye meet an army, hold firm and think of Allah much, that ye may be successful" [Sura 8:45].
Have we worked according to these verses? We have not taken precautions. We have been taken by surprise by the international Zionist channels. They attacked us while we were unaware and we have not made ourselves "ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force." That is why they attacked us once and for all, as the Qur’an says: "Those who disbelieve long for you to neglect your arms and your baggage that they may attack you once for all…" [Sura 4:102].
When we met [the army of] our enemy, we did not hold firm as God ordered us and we did not think of Allah either more or less. We have merely tried to provide our soldiers recreation through insolent singing and dissolute dancing.
How can it be that we consider ourselves to be the true believers whom the Qur’an speaks about? How can it be that we ask victory from God while we do not work for His victory? How can it be that we ask for the reward of true believers without asking ourselves to being committed to the characteristics of true believers?
I do not intend to say that there are no true believers. Of course there are. However, they are few and scattered. Most of them lost hope in reforming the conditions of Muslims and laid their weapons aside; leaving the battlefield for the insolent cultural invasion that is characterized by kufr.
Still, the solution is in the hands of these few true believers. They should call for the returning to the true Islam.
