The Dutch Ministries of Justice and Interior along with the Dutch Intelligence Department are considering refusing Muslim Brotherhood leaders the ability to attend an international conference to be held in Amsterdam next May under the title “Islam in Holland, Mediation on the Present and Future Horizons.”
Accordingly, the Dutch Parliament called for a special session, which will question the two ministries. As of now, the conference will be attended by a number of Muslim Brotherhood figures from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and Kuwait.
A number of Muslim academics in the Netherlands, headed by Wāsif Shadīd, professor of inter-cultural communication at Leiden University, will also be attending.
