19. Bishop and Governor of Giza meet to discuss ways out of the ‘Umrāniyyah crisis

Bishop Theodosius of Giza is set to meet with Giza Governor Sayyid ‘Abd al-‘Azīz to discuss solutions to the ‘Umrāniyyah crisis. The Bishop told al-Misrī al-Yawm that Pope Shenouda III is following the case since many young Copts have been arrested.
