The extremist groups are trying everyday to break the blockade that was imposed by the government and the people after they had suffered from their actions. In each new attempt to break this blockade they now try to use a new method. The members of the new kind of extremism are calling themselves the ’lower movement’, saying that they are against terrorism and against the other groups that adopt extremist ideas. But their actions indicate that they are the new extremists.
Sheikhs of the ’lower movement’ were separated from the Al Takfir wa Al-Higra group and they forbid people from watching the television or reading the books of Nagib Mahfouz, Youssef Idris and Zaki Nagib Mahmoud.
