Egypt and Hosni Mubarak are the targets. Leave all these weak details, these highly elegant words and the human rights pretensions. All these are lies and everyone knows about them. It is just a game that those conspirators played against Egypt. What is this persecution that they are taking about. And since when the Copts became persecuted? What is happening? Where are these gallows? Where are these people who have been
crucified? We can not find anything, but we smell the odor of the dollars that are paying the price for the defamation of Egypt and the presentation of false information to its enemies. All the information, testimonies and sayings agreed on that what happened in Al-Koshh is just an ordinary crime, two Copts killed a Copt and the citizens said that these people might be suspected. The case was so crucial and finding the murderers is an important matter in order not to give the way for any rumors or sayings. 70% of the inhabitants of this village are Copts and if they could not find the murderer quickly who knows what will the biased people do? Especially that bishop Wisa, the bishop of Al-Belyana, is well known for his blind
fanaticism. On the contrary, bishop Bakhoum, the bishop of Akhmim, is quite known among Muslims and Copts, for his concern for national unity.
The police forces moved and arrested the suspected people. The police may have gone beyond the limits, but this happened many times before. This is not limited to the Copts only, but this has become a habitual attitude practiced in some areas of Egypt. This had happened in some of the areas lately and some people were the victims.. So what is new?!
The "Sunday Telegraph" published a report written by journalist Christina Lamb in which she mentioned the incidents that had happened in Al-Koshh, how the police arrested 1200 Copts and tortured them. All what can be said that the words that are written in this
report are illogic. Bishop Wisa himself said that there are no disagreements between the Muslims and the Copts in Al-Koshh at all and the murder is just an ordinary crime. What happened in Al-Koshh is happening in the Egyptian countryside. So, why do some people insist on using the Copts as the head of the spear to defame Egypt, as if they are opening the way in front of the enemies of the country to use the Copts as a means of pressure on Egypt and the Egyptians. Also, what is the relation of Christina or the Congress or Britain with Egypt’s internal affairs? Have not they listened to the words of Pope Shenouda in which he refuses any foreign interference in our affairs and confirms that these problems will be solved inside the country. Some of the Copts responded to the foreign plans believing that this is the only rescue, but they are wrong because they are used as a tool to serve another aims that are against the benefit of the country and its citizens.
Here I request from the country to punish severely anyone who tries to play with the unity of our people. The country must also find a solution to confront these so-called organizations of human rights. Being silent is not enough. We have to do something to confront these people who insist on dealing with the Copts as a minority. If you searched well, you will find that the people, who are spreading these rumors, have something to do with Israel or the suspected Western and American organizations. Therefore, Egypt, national unity and the patriotic work of President Mubarak are the real targets because the
destruction of Egypt paves the way in front of Israel to control and govern.
