Maurice Sadek, director of the Center for National Unity, does not refrain from his hobby of writing false reports on persecution. We have recently received a letter from one of Sadek’s victims, who was used as a playing card by Sadek amongst the many cards presented to Senator Frank Wolf in their meeting in Cairo.

The victim that was presented by Sadek to Senator Wolf was George Adly. According to Sadek Adly was dismissed from his work at the Cairo Sheraton hotel after he had refused to convert to Islam, and has been under strong pressure from the hotel’s management.

Adly, however, clarified in a letter to Al-Osboa, that he was dismissed from his work at the Sheraton Hotel in 1993 after he was accused of stealing 500 dollars from one of the players at the casino. His case was under investigation by a committee at the Dokki labor office and was not found guilty of the charges. The committee asked for his return to his job, however the hotel refused to re-employ Adly. In addition the Giza preliminary court ruled that Adly should return to his duties and that the hotel pay him his 604 pounds per month salary.

The problem of Adly has no relationship whatsoever with religion and what is worth mentioning is that the person who does not want to carry out the court ruling is the hotels foreign manager.
