Article full text:

The wife of Father Ibrahim Abdel Sayyed said that her husband used to acknowledge Pope Shenouda as his discipler and professor until he died. She said that Father Ibrahim held a Mass every day in the time of the exile of Pope Shenouda in Deir Al-Bishoi [the Monastery of Bishoi] to pray to God that He might demonstrate the pope’s innocence to the whole world. And he was one of the visitors who used to visit the pope in the monastery in order to encourage him in his difficulties.

All the family of the priest are asking: Is it possible to ask Pope Shenouda to forgive this family which has no enmity towards the church to hold the fortieth-day prayer which the members of the family will participate in, in order to forget the pain, and the loss of the breadwinner and head of the family. She is also pleading with the Pope and Bishop Bishoi to accept to this request as a human request of the first degree[sic!], or will the church will reject all the matter concerning the priest Ibrahim. And the mother of the priest was very astonished. She doesn’t know what is going on with the body of her son "the kind priest who never did any evil in his life, his door was always open to the poor and the needy. Why are we going round in circles with his body? The earth welcomed him, while the human beings rejected him."
