The Vatican announced yesterday that Pope John Paul II will not visit Iraq before January next year. The Vatican News Service said that the Chaldean Patriarch in Baghdad, Raphael Badawit said yesterday that the preparations for the visit are not sufficient for the Pope to come around the beginning of December.
