Yesterday morning, Evangelical churches performed special prayers for the victims of the Israeli massacres in Jerusalem. Reverend Minees Abdel Nour led the prayers in the Qasr Al-Doubara church where Girgis Masoud, the vice president of the Evangelical denomination was present. In their prayers they asked God to bless president Mubarak’s efforts to achieve peace. Prayers performed in the Evangelical church in Masr Al-Gedida [Heliopolis] were led by Reverend Makram Naguib and his assistant Ezzat Shakar. They asked the international community to stop the Israeli violence against innocent people.
