Article full text:

Pope Shenouda, Pope of Alexandria, declared that the hands of Jews are deeply indulged in the blood of thousands of Palestinians. He added that Jews are a people that God cursed and highlighted the importance that both the Arabic and the Islamic nations remain together in front of the monstrous attacks against the Palestinians.

In a statement to the Jordanian newspaper, "The Arabs Today", the Pope said that what the Palestinians are facing and are subjected to now oblige us all to support them and to unite with one another because the case is not only Palestinian. It is the case of the whole Arabic existence, especially after attacking the Aqsa mosque.

The Pope confirmed the Arabic identity of Al-Quds saying, "Any bargaining about Jerusalem is refused; its internationalization is unacceptable. Agreeing on internationalizing Jerusalem means that we give up its Arabic identity and, with the passage of years, this internationalization will turn into Hebrewization."

Pope Shenouda said about the attitude of the Egyptian church towards the recent incidents in Palestine that "All our hearts and feelings are with them. We are praying for them and ask for help and support them by all means."
