On January 10, 2003, the Egyptian Administrative Causes Court will hear the case brought by 43-year-old Hamed Sediq Meki, a law student at Cairo University, against the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the People’s Assembly, the Minister of Higher Education, The President of Cairo University and the Dean of the Faculty of Law. The student is demanding the abolishment of the curricula of the faculty of law claiming that it calls for polytheism and does not conform to Islam.



The student said that the curricula of law at Cairo University are based on the thoughts of French and British polytheists and unbelievers who are enemies of God and religion.
