Several articles are devoted to the incident around the Patmos Convent, a newsly established convent that was founded by H.G. Bishop Botros. El-Keraza, the official weekly of the Coptic Orthodox Church reported that the incident was ‘solved.’ But since these conflicts have occurred every now and then in the past years people at the Patmos Convent remain skeptical about this. Dr. Maurice Assad, a consultant of Bishop Botros, explicitly referred to Yousef Sidhom’s call to the Minister of Defence (art. 13).
