Article summary:

The writer of Sawt Al-Umma article’s on the Archpriest should have asked himself whether the Torah and the Bible have been corrupted before or after Prophet Muhammad. If they were corrupted before Prophet Muhammad, then why did the Qur’an attest them? And if they were corrupted after Prophet Muhammad, then how come that God preserves the Qur’an and could not preserve the Torah and Bible?

Article full text:

Archpriest Zakaria Butros has been the focal point of much talk. The Holy Synod defrocked him because he deviated in his discourse from the Christian norms known for amity and humbleness as the Lord said “and whoever says, ’You fool!’ shall be liable to the hell of fire.” [Matthew- 5: 22, King James translation]

Jesus said in his sublime teachings. But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” [Matthew- 5: 44, King James translation]. Jesus orders us to love the enemies, not to mention our brothers in the nation.

Archpriest Zakaria Butros has played with the fire played by many Muslim extremists in their religious as well as some state-run newspapers.

The article writer should have asked himself whether the Torah and the Bible have been corrupted before or after Prophet Muhammad. If they were corrupted before Prophet Muhammad, then why did the Qur’an attest them? And if they were corrupted after Prophet Muhammad, then how come that God preserves the Qur’an and could not preserve the Torah and Bible?

God Has preserved the Torah and Bible just like He did with the Qur’an.
