An argument that Copts try to gain more ground through internationalizing their issues.

Article full text:

The head of the Egyptian Association for Human Rights Najīb Jibrā’īl has claimed that the Egyptian regime is responsible for the internationalization of Copts’ issues.

He stresses that the international law gives minorities, persecuted or abused, the right to resort to the UN if attempts to settle their problems fail.

The Egyptian Association for Human Rights activist says that he rejects any interference in Egypt’s domestic affairs, but that the state is so stubborn that it declines to restore churches and covers up the evidence of al-Kushh drama that left 21 Copts dead.

The Egyptian Association for Human Rights chief wonders who is behind the burning and sabotage of Copts’ property in Muharram Bīk Street in Alexandria.

Earlier, the UN Human Rights watchdog had agreed to debate persecution against the Egyptian Copts, in what the author states is a silly attempt to internationalize local issues.
