During a field evaluation tour in the Governorate of al-Fayyūm, Dr. Maḥmūd Ḥamdī Zaqzūq, Egyptian minister of endowments, announced that the project of unifying the call to prayers will be carried out in Cairo’s mosques starting next month.
The minister exclaimed that the ministry has reached an agreement with the Greater Cairo Broadcasting channel to transmit the Adhān to the chosen mosques on air.
