In a recent statement Pope Shenouda III has denied any fracture within the Coptic Orthodox Church,
asserting that it is merely criticism of others without any evidence and proof.
He adds that there are no
unilateral decisions made as others claim, but rather that any decision is taken in a democratic manner after
consulting the Holy Synod.
