The final procedures are being made to launch four new Christian satellite channels for

Copts and Christians around the Arab World and the Middle East. The first satellite channel is ’al-Khalās’ which is

related to the United Copts Organization which is active in the U.K and the Netherlands. ’Al-Khalās’ will discuss the

problems facing Christians in the Arab World especially Egyptian Copts.
The second one is ’al-Mahabbah’ [Love] which

is to be launched from Los Angeles in the U.S. It is interested in the problems facing American Copts. Thirdly, there is

’al-Kitāb al-Muqaddas’ [The Holy Book] which is related to the Lebanese Catholic Association. ’Al-Kitāb al-

Muqadas’ which is to be launched from Beirut will mainly call for Catholicism in the Arab World and the Middle East.

Finally, the fourth satellite channel is ’al-Rā‘ī al-Sālih’ [The Good Pastor] which is run by the

self-proclaimed Bishop Maximus will be launched during the coming period in the U.S; it is directed mainly at the followers

of Max Michel in Egypt.
