Labīb criticizes Rafīq Habīb’s continuous advocating for the Muslim Brotherhood to rise up to power after Mubārak in Egypt. He also criticizes his ongoing promotion of the outlawed group that, according to Labīb, lacks all measures of democracy and principles of citizenship.
Labīb further comments on Habīb’s declarations, published in al-Khamīs newspaper, about the political activity that started in 2005 and attributed the current liveliness of political activity in Egypt to Kifāyah’s activity. Labīb also wonders about Kifāyah opposition movement’s achievement in political life in Egypt.
Rafīq Habīb declared in his interview that the Muslim Brotherhood supports all the movements that call for political reform and political change in Egypt, which in Labīb’s opinion means that it uses all the cards to serve its on aims regardless of applying citizenship rules on all Egyptians alike.
