For several decades, extremist Muslims have lived in European countries which they refer to as “the lands of the crusaders.” These extremists had earlier planned and supervised the execution of terrorist attacks in their native Arab countries aimed at reaching power. They then fled to Europe, whose governments welcomed them and granted them political asylum believing they were persecuted politicians and religious figures, and refused to extradite them.

 
Later on, those extremists started to execute terrorist operations in the European countries they had fled to under the guise of Islam. This, in turn, lead to the emergence of Islamophobia in the West and some racists manipulating these incidents to stir the world against Islam. In this way the peaceful Islamic majority in the West has paid for what the ignorant rigid minority has committed, and all attempts to improve the image of Islam have proved unsuccessful due to the rise of Islamophobia in the West.
