Al-Ghaytānī resumes his articles on the Hanging Church. As in his first article al-Ghaytāni continues describing the church; its history and artistic monuments [Reviewer: See AWR 2010, week 1, article 13]. He also refers to the richness of the Coptic culture and civilization and the significance of good restoration of the Coptic manuscripts and arts to understand the Coptic culture that, al-Ghaytānī believes, is part of Egypt’s culture and civilization. He stated that the Coptic history should be taught in Egyptian schools as part of Egypt’s history, elaborating that Egyptians’ awareness of themselves will not be complete without studying the Coptic history.
