Pope Shenouda’s decision to call for the return of all abroad bishops and monks to Egypt as soon as possible urged some bishops to cut their visits short. On the other hand, there are still 35 monks in Europe and America who have not fulfilled their orders and sent medical reports which reveal that their medical situation does not allow them to return. Surprisingly, the Pope responded to them and urged them to come back and continue their treatment in Egypt. It is also reported that the Pope rejected the requests of some bishops who wanted to travel abroad for medical treatment.
