Ussāmah al-Ghazūlī reflects on an incident that took place in Britain where a very prominent female announcer Muná al-Shazlī said that they are now watching over the democratic parliamentary elections Britain. Al-Ghazūlī highlights a conversation with his British friend that the coverage by al-Shazlī is a method to pave the way for Egyptian public opinion to accept international supervision over the Egyptian elections.
Afterwards, he stressed that letting the African Union and the Kartal Institute be involved in the supervision of the elections with the European Union, definitely decreases the domination from Western governments. The Western governments, civil organizations' leaders, academicians, and capitalists cooperate with their local counterparts in managing different affairs of developing countries. Finally, he emphasizes that international supervision will be a political step taking place in the entire east. Its sole aim is to reach a parliamentary system where disputes are discussed and might lead to an exchange in authority between the Muslim Brotherhoods and the bureaucracy.
