When al-Musawir published a document about the conquest of Egypt, members of the Muslim Brotherhood denied that it belonged to them. The truth is that this document is part of a more important and dangerous one. This document is entitled “Future vision and strategic plan” which is known inside the group as the Twelve-year plan of the Muslim Brotherhood, which is considered the manifesto of the future vision towards the country.

 

The Twelve-year document specifies all the Group’s strategic goals. It divides these goals into stages, plans and dates until it ends with full control over Egypt, being one of the main regions for the international Muslim Brotherhood to lead the world. The Muslim Brotherhood sets the time of 12 years to complete their scheme as planned. In its main section, the Group admits that its main goal is to fulfill the message of the organization, which is ruling Egypt. They add that this goal is part of their mission for the reform of society. In the end of the document, the Group identifies a group of people who lead private and public foundations and accuse them of working for the welfare of Zionists. They describe these people as “enemies of Islam.”

 

Al-Musawwarpublishes the whole document in this article. The mission of the Muslim Brotherhood as mentioned in the document is to “spread the word of Allāh” by spreading Islamic rules, values and legislations all over the world. The document explains that this could be done by working on the development of the Islamic Nation in order to retain a reputable position in the world. The paper comments that if this is the mission of the Muslim Brotherhood in general, then it’s the group in Egypt should work on applying this through:

-         Helping the Egyptian society to spread Islamic rules and values.

-         The cooperation between the Muslim Brotherhood and the people in order to be able to carry on with their message.

 

In the objectives section, the document mentions that the Islamic state in the Egyptian society shows that it has been deteriorating since the 1990s. It adds that one of the features of this deterioration is general attitudes of people, as well as women’s dress, the spread of bribery, drugs and corruption among all members of the society.
