“The French nun, who also carries the Egyptian nationality, realized great achievements for the poor people around the world, mainly in Egypt,” he added.
In her autobiography, Madeleine Cinquin said she was born in 1908 and lived in Paris, Brussels, Istanbul and Cairo.

 

In 1971, she witnessed the impoverished conditions of the trash collectors in Cairo and decided to live among them.

 

The autobiography reveals her love and passion for Egypt. She was honored with Egyptian nationality in 1991.
