Angry reactions of a number of Copts in Esna city in Luxur in Upper Egypt continue over the disappearance of Catherine ‘Imād Ramzī, a 17-year-old girl who disappeared after attending the Sunday Mass.

Scores of Copts gathered in front of the Esna police department, demanding police forces to find her as soon as possible amid news about her conversion to Islam after escaping to one of the governorates in the Delta.

Her father underlined that he called her cellular phone and a child responded, telling him not to call her again; while her mother said she received two phone calls from her daughter.

Police have intensified their efforts to find the girl.
