Al-Sayyid al-Badawī, head of the Wafd Party, and a number of the party’s leaders visited Pope Shenouda III today in his seat in al-‘Abāsyyah.

 

 The party has decided to hold a monthly seminar for the constitutional expert Yahyá al-Jamal on the last Tuesday of every month. The first seminar is going to be held on the 29^th of June under the title “Let’s learn how to disagree.” In his meeting with al-Badawī al-Jamal stressed the importance of the solidarity between all political forces and elite to effect the required change.

 

Al-Badawī has further met with the poet Ahmad Fu’ād Nijm and agreed to hold Wafdi poetry recital nights in different governorates starting next week.
