“I pray to God that He would heal the famous Islamic preacher from diabetes,” Khālid Muntasir starts his article. “At the same time, I pray that he would be healed from a more dangerous disease; that is of tā’ifī discrimination and prejudice against other beliefs and religions.”
Muntasir adds that days passed and the preacher found no other place for diabetes treatment except Germany, a country he once described as one of apostasy. He did not resort to natural remedies, which his satellite channel promotes, like honey. On the contrary, when he wanted to find a treatment to his disease, he went to Germany where he was saved by an “apostate” physician from another religion.
It was shocking that the preacher thanked only Muslim physicians who helped him in the hospital. He only cares to publish news about westerners who convert to Islam. “He might be doing this out of freedom of expression that is a part of western life,” Muntasir writes. “It is this freedom that enabled them to excel in science and to receive critical cases like that of the preacher, regardless of their religions or nationalities.”
All the speeches of this preacher, whether on TV or online, attack Christians and Jews. He keeps warning Muslims of the Christian scheme to attack Islam. When he went to the hospital in Germany, he was not attracted to their medical and scientific progress. He never asked himself what the reason behind this progress could be. In contrast, he was more concerned with looking for ways to convert the hospital’s staff to Islam.
