The author continues his comments on a number of news stories tackled by channels and websites.

The first subject is posted on al-Masriyūn, website under the title “The second marriage and sectarian rebellion” by Hilmī Muhammad Qa‘ūd, who keeps attacking and criticizing the Church’s leaders, mainly Pope Shenouda, describing him as the leader of a sectarian rebellion in Egypt and Christians as a group of fanatics.

He also spoke about the sectarian crime by the fanatics and their leader Pope Shenouda and his plan to destroy Islam in Egypt through his project of “civil society” or “the citizenship stat.”

The author comments “I feel sorry about this and those who will be affected by your article. Is the Pope a leader of the sectarian rebellion because he wants to apply his Sharī‘ah and because his opinion is against yours?.”

The second subject is Dr. Su‘ād Sālih’s statements to a TV program on her occasion of joining al-Wafd party. Sālih underlined her rejection of the idea of a Chrsitian presidential candidate in Egypt because in Islam an “infidel cannot rule Muslims.”

The author comments, the “Qur’ān gave Christians good descriptions and the Prophet Muhammad commended them and married one of them and you still described them as infidels?”

The Third subject is an article published in al-Ahrām State Council and Christians’ Cases, in which Advisor Mahmūd al-‘Attār rejected Christians’ reactions, mainly Orthodox, after the verdict of the Higher Administrative Court on remarriage.
He also said the west considers the Orthodox as infidels and they should be converted to other Churches.

The author comments, “I just want to know the names of these countries that consider the Orthodox as infidels. Regarding the remarriage verdict, I think Anbā Bīshūy, the secretary of the Holy Synod, has clarified the Church’s stance from the verdict which violates its teachings.”
