Following the Supreme Administrative Court‘s verdict issued on May 20, 2010, that allowed the remarriage of a Orthodox-Copt divorcee, outrage spread among both local and expatriate Copts. In this context, the author sent a message to Al-Ahrām, where he confirmed the importance of dealing wisely with the situation. In this article he reaffirms his point but also thanks Christian people and Pope Shenouda, who managed to stop the imminent issue.
