The author presents Shaykh Yūsuf al-Badrī’s perception of progressive Islamic thinker Dr. Nasr Hāmid Abū Zayd. The author states that the death of Abū Zayd did nothing to silence al-Badrī’s characterization of him as an apostate, saying that al-Badrī does not regret any actions he has taken against those he deems as apostates.
