 He also discussed the perspective of the Orthodox Church regarding the wedding rituals of other denominations (namely Protestants), pointing that Protestants perform the marriage themselves without a priest which is not acceptable in Orthodoxy. In addition, he declared that in Egypt there are no laws against church building yet some extremist people obstruct the building procedures.
