Pope Shenouda interferes to end the conflict between the governor of Minia and bishop of Maghāghah and holds a meeting with the church representative to discuss the items of the Unified Law on Personal Status for non-Muslims.
From his side, the pope declares that the Ramadan breakfast table of national unity will be on the 21st day of Ramadan.
