The Supreme State Security Prosecution is investigating a report by Najīb Jibrā’īl, the head of the Egyptian Union for Human Rights and one of the Coptic Church’s legal advisors, against Abū Islām Ahmad 'Abd Allah, the owner of Dār al-Tanwīr al-Islāmī publishing house who has released a translation of the Bible and introduced it as a forged text, accusing him of disdaining Christianity.
Abū Islām refused to apologize to Coptic Orthodox Pope Shenouda III and stated that all that was mentioned in the introduction is referenced.
