The security apparatus rejects the allegations that it has been involved in kidnapping Kāmīliyā, a security source said.

The interior ministry source affirmed that the state security agency was not involve in the kidnapping of Kāmīliyā, the priest’s wife, who reportedly converted to Islam.

The source noted that the duty of the security establishment is to prevent crimes.
