 The author states that the family of the earlier president, Al-Sadat, explods a bomb; this happens when Efat Al-Sadat decides to run as a candidate against his brother Talaat Al-Sadat in the parliamentary elections. Efat states that he decided to run as candidate himself in compliance with the desire of his family because his brother always struggles with the government and so he isn't useful for the family.  Others say that the government has urged Efat to nominate himself as candidate to get rid of the troubles with his brother.
