Alaa points out that while Nagla Al-Imam is allowed to speak inappropriately about Islam and its prophet, Kamilia is denied the right to practice freedom of choice. He added that the Church is playing a double game of mobilizing Copts abroad and expressing absolute loyalty at home. The result, he says, is that the Church is becoming a state within the state. Democracy is the solution.
