Hundreds of protestors took part in demonstrations outside the Al-Nūr mosque after Friday prayers yesterday in protest of Minister of Information Anas al-Fiqī’s decision to shut down a number of Islamic satellite channels. They also protested the Azhar University security for allegedly assaulting a student and called for the release of Kāmīlīyā Shihātah.
