Luxor Criminal Court issued a ruling sentencing five Muslims to life imprisonment for killing two young Copts in Hijāzah village. Hidrā ‘Azīz Sa‘īd and Amīr Stephanus were killed and others injured when Muhammad ‘Ad al-Qādir, 23 years old, Ahmad Muhamamd Sa‘īd, 19 years old, his brother Abū Bakr, 25 years old, Mahmūd Hasan Muhammad, 19 years old and Ramadān Fawzī Muhammad, 24 years old shot them while going out of Easter mass.

The crime is said to be related to a revenge crime that dates back to 2004. Last October, Hijāzah witnessed a reconciliation session between the two families to end the revenge crimes.

In anther context the authors report on news about the Criminal Court ruling that declared the suspects in the case of killing Farūq Henry innocent. Henry was the father of the young Christian man who had filmed a young Muslim woman in pornographic poses.
