Members of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces visited both the Azhar Shaykh office to meet with Dr. Ahmad al-Tayīb and the Saint Mark Cathedral in al-'Abāsīyah to meet with Coptic Orthodox Pope Shenouda III.
The meetings discussed ways to promote national unity and enhance tolerance between Muslims and Christians.
