Coptic Orthodox Pope Shenouda III is holding extensive contacts with the Ethiopian Church in a bid to intervene to resolve the River Nile water crisis which recently erupted after Addis Ababa embarked on its Great Millennium Dam project, according to Egyptian Church sources.
The pope's visit to Ethiopia is one of the solutions proposed in light of the good ties binding the Egyptian and Ethiopian churches.
