 Women started holding previously unannounced meetings to face attacks over giving them their privileges under the pretext that these privileges were given to them by the former first lady Suzanne Mubārak.

Feminist figures met with Dr. 'Isām Sharaf, Prime Minister, but refused his suggestion to change the National Council for Women Rights to a commission affiliated to the Cabinet, as they want it to be affiliated to the Presidency.
