A number of powers, movements and political parties announced their rejection of the governors reshuffle, describing it as 'disappointing' for including remnants of the dissolved National Democratic Party and keeping a number of governors who are resented by the public.
Parties and political powers threatened to ascend the matter during the month of Ramadan, protesting those reshuffled who are performing the oath today (August 7, 2011) before the Field Marshal Husayn Tantāwī.
