They were accused of slowing down the case’s investigations and ignored it nearly nine months.

The church’s lawyer, Joseph Malak, assured he suited a lawsuit against the Minister of Interior because the case is only a report without any investigations by the Ministry of Interior.

Malak pointed out the uprising lawsuits against the public prosecutor are used to pressure him to bring the file out. “As for the Prime Minister, he is considered the principal who released orders of this case,” he added.

Joseph requested the presence of the former Minister of Interior, Habib al-Adly, in the hearing to investigate and question him about report no. 7670/2010 against him.

The Two Saints Church in Sedi Beshr in Alexandria exploded on New Year evening, which resulted in the death of dozens of people. The criminals who caused the explosion still haven’t been identified or arrested so far.
