Burhāmī's views regarding Copts are not only political but also religious – he does not compel them to pay the jizyah but believes they should not be congratulated on their festivities or their funerals attended on the grounds that "they are kāfirs who will end up in hell".
He said parliaments that do not apply the sharī'ah will never be allowed, adding democracy would allow licentiousness, atheism, homosexuality and attacks on the sharī'ah.
Burhāmī also noted that if Liberals made it to power in Egypt, they would work on recognizing the devil and cow worshippers, asserting that the establishment of a Muslim nation would eradicate crime by cutting off thieves' hands and beheading adulterers and adulteresses.
