The weekly newspaper also learnt that one of the bones of contention in this draft is the stipulation that the number of houses of worship for each of the religions recognized in Egypt with the number of population followers of a certain religion in each area.

The church is also objecting the condition of space as the draft provided that the space of any house of worship shall not be less than 300 meters in cities and 150 meters in villages and that the space between each two similar houses of worship shall not be less than 500 meters in cities and 300 meters in villages.
