The salafī al-Nūr (Light) Party said there is nothing wrong with the document as long as it remains confined to being only a guiding paper, adding there are still some explanations pending on the nature of "minorities" Silmī has spoken about.

"The paper brought about nothing new and lacked explanation for certain terms like 'minorities' as there was nothing mentioned about Muslims and Copts," Yusrī Hammād, the media spokesman for al-Nūr, said.
