Seven bishops – Hidra of Aswan, Marqus of Shubrā al-Khaymah, Mūsá of Youth, Apollo of South Sinai, Bimin of Naqādā and Qūs, Marterius of East of the Railroad Churches and Mīnā of Old Cairo Churches – attended the mass.

The funerary mass was also attended by a large number of monks, priests and five-thousand Copts including the families of the martyrs, relatives and their Muslim and Christian friends and neighbors.
