Candidates of the FJP and the salafī al-Nūr (Light) Party have reportedly handed out bribes for voters at the Hudá Sha'rāwī school station in eastern Alexandria constituency.

Meanwhile, a bus carrying a lot of passengers was seen moving off from the Monastery of Saint Barsoum al-Arian heading to the ballot stations. One of the passengers said they have received directives from the church that they should vote for a certain candidate.
