On Thursday April 10, a forum met in the Federal Court in New York to discuss the situation of the Copts in Egypt and their protection within Egypt. It is alleged that their rights and freedoms were violated during the revolutionary events.  
Copts were angered due to the appearance of TV presenter Rashā Majdī on TV again on the occasion of covering the October 6 celebrations (the armed forces day). 
A number of Copts have sent a call for help to the Minister of Interior, General Muhammad Ibrāhim, and President al- Sīsī, in order to protect them from the continuous attacks on their houses by thugs.
